What drivers licence is required?
If your Australian living in Australia have a Australian full and current driver's license.
Drivers must be over 25 years of age.
Once booked - We also require photos of your driver’s licence. If there is a second driver, I also need a copy of their licence on file as well (both sides).
Overseas Licence
Licence - I have a overseas drivers license?
A current and full motor vehicle driver’s licence is required and must be produced upon vehicle collection. Should a foreign licence be in a language other then English it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver’s licence was issued. An accredited English translation will be accepted in lieu of an international driving permit. Drivers must be 25 years of age or over.

Is there a courtesy pickup from the airport to the pickup depot locations
No you will have to make your own way to the pickup depot location using for example Uber, Taxi or Licensed Private Hire Cars.

Can you hold my quote?
At the time of quoting, we have a camper available for your requested dates, however if there is a delay between quoting and booking we cannot guarantee your dates are still available. At request we can hold your quoted dates for 72 hours.
Kilometres
How many Kilometres do I get?
Unlimited kilometres.

What is the suppliers cancellations policy?

Liability Excess and Bond
What type of Liability Excess is there and what reduction options are there?
Our bond is $0.
ASC campers do not hold a bond on your credit card, most 4WD camper companies will hold a bond on your credit card for up to 1 month. We do not hold a bond on your card so you are not without your money for weeks.
Unfortunately accidents do happen so ASC have some options available to reduce your liability.
We recommend you take the time to decide what suits you best.
Standard damage excess with every booking - $7000AUD, windscreen, tyres and vehicle recovery are not covered.
If the camper or camping equipment is damaged or lost during your hire you are liable including flat tyres and damaged windscreens.
'Safety Sam' optional liability reduction level 2 - reduce excess to $1000 - $69 per day. (Maximum cost - $3450).
Includes 2x tyre replacements, 3x puncture repairs, 1x windscreen replacement and vehicle recovery costs up to $5000AUD.
'Careful Camper' optional liability reduction level 1 - reduce excess to $3000 - $49 per day. (Maximum cost - $2450).
Includes 1x tyre replacement and vehicle recovery costs up to $1000AUD.
If anything unfortunate happens during your hire you should always contact ASC Campers as soon as possible. The team at ASC are always available for advice and support throughout your adventure.
As always we recommend you have personal travel insurance, ASC will not cover any personal injury or loss including hire cancellation fees.The liability reduction charges must be added to your booking and paid for before you pick up the camper.
This must be done through the Perth office so if you are picking up the camper in Perth it can be done there upon pickup. If you are picking up the camper in another location make sure you contact the Perth office 5 days before picking up the camper to make sure the option has been added to your booking. We recommend you have personal travel insurance as ASC will not cover your cancellation costs or personal injury costs.

Up to 91 days before trip full refund or credit available
90 days to 60 days before hire 10% of hire cost cancellation fee.
59 days to 31 days before hire 30% of hire cost cancellation fee.
30 days to 0 days before hire 100% of hire cost cancellation fee.
BOOKING CHANGES POLICY
Cancellation fees/terms refer to original booking dates.
Date changes are at the discretion of Allstar Campers, if approved these costs will be charged.

How much fuel can my camper hold?
ASC4wd Toyota Hilux campers hold 140 litres of diesel fuel. The fuel tank will be full when you pick up the camper. When you return the camper you must fill the fuel tank prior to drop off.
Going to Arnhem Land?
Do I require a permit to enter Arnhem Land?
Yes. The Northern Land Council administer the permit system, which is designed to help protect the privacy of Aboriginal communities, preserve Aboriginal culture, safeguard the natural environment and promote visitor safety. Please be aware a permit may take up to 10 days to process.

Cleaning
Do I have to clean my camper before I return it?
You are required to return the BBQ, stove and all kitchenware clean. All linen/bedding is to be removed from the tents. ASC will clean the camper for you after your amazing holiday in our beautiful country.

Beach driving
Can I drive on the beach?
Our campers can drive on any beaches where vehicles are permitted. We advise you stay above the high tide level as there is no insurance for water damage.
If you get bogged on the beach the camper has sand recovery tracks, an air compressor, a shovel and if you are really stuck - a tow strap.
Amount required to book
What is the deposit due to book and when is the balance due to be paid?
We require a minimum of 30% deposit to secure your booking. If you would like to pay the total amount when booking on your credit card we will not charge any card fees.
You can pay the total amount anytime but the total must be paid 30 days before hire. You must allow for weekends and public holidays for us to receive payment
Bank transfer payment is available if you prefer, just ask and we can email you the international banking details.
Any Hidden Costs
What are the hidden cost?
Absolutely nothing. We have no extra costs so you can feel comfortable knowing there will be no surprises when you pick up the camper. Everything listed on our website is included, and all camping gear required is included. No extra cost for extra drivers or kms.
The Allstar 4wd camper is the most well-equipped camper available in Australia. You may find our daily rate more than other campers but it will certainly be much better value.
Optional extras are chemical camp toilets, dome swag tents and child seats. Please ask for pricing.
Some of the Don'ts
What must I consider if not a general tourist trip.
The Hirer shall not:
operate the Vehicle in any race, pacemaking, reliability trials, speed test, hill climbs, rally, performance or contest, or on any closed road or non-public roadway.
Extra drivers
Do I get charged for extra driver's?
No charge for extra drivers.
Pets
Can I bring my pet?
No pets or service animals.
Public Holidays
Do we charge a Public Holiday fee?
No public holiday surcharge.
Pick up hours and Drop off hours
When can I collect my rentals and drop it off?
If we have a vehicle here they can collect ad early as they like, and drop off as late as they like.
Generally we say collection at 8am and return at 5pm though.
Perth and Darwin are extremely flexible, if you have an unusual time just ask but otherwise any day during 8am-5pm. I will always be available to take a drop off a bit later if required, just has to be booked ahead to make sure someone is there.
In Broome we offer 8-5 Monday to Friday.
We are restricted here to the workshop opening hrs. No public holidays or weekends.
Closed
When can I not pickup or dropoff my rental or visit the offices?
We don’t book anything on Easter weekend because we holiday as well
